The objective of the New Connections Committee is to provide a sense of comfort and community to fellow food professionals through various social and networking events in the Chicagoland area. This allows for participants to expand their professional networks and form valuable connections with others while sharing in a fun experience together. Whether you are interested in what working in the food industry looks like, just starting out your career, or have been working in the industry for years – we are here to act as a resource to expand your network.
This year we are planning a mix of both virtual and in-person events throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. All events will give participants the opportunity to network and make professional connections with others in the food industry.
This year we are introducing SWAP events. What is SWAP? Socializing With A Purpose!
These events allow people to swap stories, swap information, swap business cards, swap experiences.
