Speaker: Jennifer Howell – Direction, Regulatory Innovation (FONA International Inc.)

A FONA leader for over 18 years, Jennifer is a passionate advocate for helping customers find solutions to their regulatory challenges.

A key part of her role has been implementing high tech innovative solutions within the regulatory processes and infrastructure needed in a rapidly growing organization to provide compliant documentation and flavor development tools for programs such as organic, TTB, hazard communication, nutrition, allergen, labeling, and bioengineering. With these tools as a foundation, the regulatory team at FONA can process tens of thousands of documents at industry leading service times that have received frequent recognition from their customers.

Jennifer has a B.A. in Philosophy from the State University of New York, New Paltz and is a Certified Naturalist.

Speaker: Robert Sobel – Vice President Research & Innovation (FONA International Inc.)

Robert Sobel is currently serving FONA International as a Vice President of Research and Innovation in the development of new and novel flavor encapsulation delivery systems and taste modification technologies.

He has over twenty years industrial flavor R&D experience. Robert received a B.S. in chemistry with a minor in physics from Northern Illinois University, his M.A. in educational leadership from Aurora University, and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Northern Illinois University, Graduate research emphasis includes physical chemistry and unified separation science.
