Flavorchem specializes in the creation and manufacturing of flavor, color, and ingredient solutions, including a wide selection of organic certified flavors and extracts.

Established in 1971, Flavorchem is a privately held business whose customers include first-class brands. Our newest building is the new SRS Center for Taste Innovation in Downers Grove, Illinois.

The 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility is named after the late Salvatore R. Sprovieri, who founded the company with his brother Phil, who maintains an active leadership role. The focus of the design was to create and deliver a boutique customer experience that encourages innovation and collaboration with food trends and flavors.

To support the commercialization of new products and technologies, the building boasts a large R&D kitchen, four specialized application centers, a dedicated pilot plant with HTST, UHT and aseptic processing and filling capabilities, a sensory room for blind and controlled testing as well as premium guest suites to make sure our clients are comfortable during their visits.
