The morning began with keynote speaker Dr. Erdogan Ceylan, PhD, followed by four breakout sessions.

We were delighted to have more than 500 booths filled the day of the Expo. More than 2,700 attendees walked the floor to learn about the latest products and services available today.

For the third year, Chicago Section IFT engaged 150 students studying food science and nutrition from the University of IL Urbana-Champaign, the University of IL Chicago, and the Illinois Institute of Technology to practice networking and interviewing and to learn about food industry careers.
The students started their day at the symposium, attended their sessions, had some lunch, and walked the floor of the expo. Several also volunteered at registration!
